Barkers Social Marketing department has taken on three new projects in London.

One of the briefs will see the agency create a campaign for Tower Hamlets Primary Care Trust, which is known as one of the most deprived London Boroughs with high levels of social deprivation.

The agency has been tasked with creating a campaign that will focus on tackling childhood obesity, stopping the uptake of smoking among young people and increasing the uptake of diabetic retinopathy services which are offered by the PCT.

These wins come on the back of winning a social marketing project for a leading mental health project in Glasgow, ‘Positive Mental Attitudes’, which has been pioneering community work on mental health for years in the Greater Easterhouse part of the city.

Barkers Social Marketing will be working with the project to develop its future strategy for activity Glasgow-wide and beyond.
