PFJ and TCS scoop top gongs at 2007 RBA\\\'s

PFJ walked away with both the Recruitment Company of the Year and the Sales and Marketing Recruitment Company of the Year prizes at last week’s Recruitment Business Awards.

“We established our Manchester office in 2001 and I am delighted that the dedication and hard work of our team has been recognised in such a way”, said Paul Farrer, chairman of PFJ.

Over 440 entries were received for this year’s awards, which were held at The Hilton in Manchester last Thursday evening. The awards recognise excellence in recruitment business practice as well as creativity in recruitment advertising.

Winner of the Creative Grand Prix was TCS for First Direct with ‘Peoplequest’ which also won an award in the Ambient/Special Build category.

Graham Goodwin won the Achievement Award for its work for Gatenby Sanderson, while Commercial Recruitment Consultancy of the Year was named as Baker Ross Ltd.

Accountancy/Financial Recruitment Consultancy of the Year saw Brownlee Walker Davies pick up a commendation while the Executive Search and Selection Firm of the Year award was presented to Ellis Fairbank, while Warren Partners picked up a commendation. A commendation was also handed to TMP Worldwide in the Recruitment Advertising Agency of the Year category.
