Leeds-based Lowd+Klea has split its offering in two following a restructure.

The Lowd+Klea moniker will represent the parent group for two agencies – Leads Design and L+K Creative – each focusing on a different creative offering. Clients have already be divided between the two operations.

Managing director Marianne del Garbutt said: “We already knew we were seen as a bit of an anomaly because we worked with very small arts companies and regional businesses, as well as big brand names.

“When our new creative director [Justin Greenleaf] joined us, we began to move the service offering, winning more lifestyle clients such as Brown Thomas in Dublin and the BBC Screens. Because of this, we knew we had to consolidate our offering to all our clients in order to maintain a balance and uphold the reputation.”

L&K Creative is being positioned in the “inspirational creative arena”, offering consultancy, graphic design, advertising, and digital to art and lifestyle brands. Its key area of focus will be on international markets, new media communication, broadcast and motion graphics.

Leads Design aims to “bring it back to basics”, providing graphic design and design for print to regional clients.

L+K Creative has recently produced the brochure for the 2007 sales launch of Reebok’s global sportswear and apparel, which will act as an advisory tool for sales and marketing teams worldwide.

Leads Design, meanwhile, has created a new brand identity and supporting marketing collateral for Nottingham-based Redmak Urban Architects.
