Exploding ads to hit Manchester

CBS Outdoor has teamed up with CheethamBell JWT to promote the new ride at Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach by ‘exploding’ the ride on the side of a bus.

The use of ‘exploding supersides’ to promote Infusion is a method developed by CBS Outdoor. The posters will feature rider’s legs and arms dangling outside the usual proportions of a bus-side advert.

CBS Spokesperson Phil Parkinson commented, “This is the first time exploding Supersides have been seen on buses outside London and the campaign for Blackpool Pleasure Beach really does the format justice creatively.

Meanwhile, CheethamBell JWT has recently been appointed to handle the £2million account for holiday and coach company WA Shearings.

The firm made the decision after deciding to consolidate the number of agencies it worked with. Brazen and Mediavest Manchester have also been appointed.
