Connect cements relationship with Tarmac brief

Connect have been appointed on a three-year contract to provide marketing services to Tarmac, following a review and eight-way creative pitch.

The contract includes the provision of a range of services, including digital and exhibitions. The appointment follows Connect\'s recent development of a campaign to promote product support for Finning, the UK\'s sole distributor of Caterpillar construction and earth-moving equipment.

The agency has been tasked with developing an integrated campaign to promote Finning\'s product support proposition in a sector where customers\' demands post-purchase can be notoriously tough.

Tarmac\'s head of marketing, Adrian Pickett said: “The process has seen the business move from a number of suppliers to just one, so it was essential that we found a partner who could offer us access to a broad range of services via a single point of contact.”
