Sun Valley hand Grossman task to principles

Brand licensing firm Premier Foods and Sun Valley Snacks has appointed Principles Agency to design packaging for new product Loyd Grossman Indulgent Nut Mix.

The product, which comes in three varieties of cashew, pecan, almond and macadamia mix, has been listed by Sainsbury’s and other major multiples, arriving on shelves in early June.

Principles has an ongoing relationship with Sun Valley Snacks, having recently worked on Pretz and the You Are What You Eat range of products.

Helen North, account manager for Principles Agency, said: “Our executions take into account the Loyd Grossman brand values already used on his range of sauces, but also reflect the healthy and natural properties of the nuts. We’ve also given the packaging a contemporary feel to appeal to the sophisticated and luxury market the products are aimed at.”

An above-the-line campaign is expected to support the launch.
