Shakespeare Country, the not-for-profit leisure company tasked with promoting South Warwickshire as a tourist destination, has appointed Palmer Hargreaves Wallis Tomlinson after a six-way pitch.

The Leamington Spa-based agency will start work immediately on rebranding, developing the new logo and creating various brochures.

Meanwhile, PHWT has also developed a new campaign for tyre brand Uniroyal.

The campaign is designed to reinforce Uniroyal’s positioning as the ‘Rain Tyre’ and features Uniroyal tyres dramatically repelling water. The push is aimed at both the trade and consumers, and will consist of advertising and a loyalty programme.

Tim Bailey, advertising manager of Uniroyal’s parent company Continental Tyres said; “The trade audience is extremely important to Uniroyal and we know from research we’ve carried out that it’s vital to reward the trade for stocking and selling the brand.”
