Science Museum Swindon, part of the National Museums of Science and Industry (NMSI), has launched the branding for Inspired – the showcase, which will open in 2010.

Consisting of 250,000 exhibitions, live experiments, shows, workshops and artefacts, Inspired is tipped to be one of the biggest events of its kind.

The branding has been developed by Leeds-based Thompson, which was first appointed in 2006. The project required the agency to complete strategic brand work, before developing the new brand identity.

The project follows Thompson’s rebranding of the National Media Museum on behalf of the NMSI, which was launched earlier this year.
