LongLunch is searching for a new director, following the departure of one of its founding members Ross Laurie.

Laurie has decided to leave LongLunch to concentrate on running his agency, Line.

Now run by Rufus Spiller, Brian Copeland, Andy Massey and Andy Neely – LongLunch will begin a search for a replacement.

LongLunch regularly brings the design community in Scotland together through events designed to promote collaboration and innovation.

Speaking of his decision to depart, Laurie said: “Line is going through the roof just now, so something had to give. Unfortunately it was LongLunch.”

Rufus Spiller added: “Ross brought a huge amount of energy and expertise and while we will miss him, the plan was always to step down and let others take over the running of LongLunch. We have now seen almost all of our industry heroes through the events we’ve organised, so we want to inject some fresh talent and ideas into Long Lunch.”
