Regional development agency, Advantage West Midlands (AWM) has appointed Warwickshire-based Freestyle New Media to redesign its main website.

The contract was the subject of a tendering process and will require the digital agency to create a user-centered design that will enable different stakeholders to interact with the wide range of AWM information online.

The new website will be launched later this year.

Meanwhile, Freestyle has also redesigned and built the corporate website for ICI, following a three-way pitch.

The new look and feel has been created to target investors, journalists and analysts. “The design is simple, colourful and clean, giving visual expression of ICI’s vision of achieving leadership in formulation science,” explained Daniel Birch, head of creative at Freestyle.

“We developed a unique design language that supports a flexible site structure.”

The ICI Technology section of the site – www.ici.com – has also been expanded as part of the relaunch.

In addition, Freestyle has also won a project to build a range of internet-based external and internal communications for Paris-based stock market company, Alstom - one of the leading players in equipment and services for power generation and transport.
