The Media Shop has retained The Braehead Shopping Centre account following a three-way pitch for the centre’s media account – a contract that will run for a further three years.

The Glasgow-based agency has been tasked with increasing footfall and encouraging shoppers to stay in the centre for a longer period of time to increase spend.

The campaign will run throughout the west of Scotland immediately, in order to promote key shopping periods such as summer and back to school. The campaigns will run across press, as well as radio and outdoor.

The Media Shop has worked with the centre since it opened in 1999.

Lydia Young, marketing manager at Braehead Shopping Centre said: “There has always been tough competition in Glasgow and it was important to make sure we had the right media company to represent us.”
