The team behind Glasgow’s 2014 Commonwealth Games bid, has appointed London and Manchester-based Reading Room to redesign its website as it pushes the campaign ahead of the final selection in November.

The new site, due to launch in May, will move away from the current focus on encouraging people to register their support, to become a campaign site showcasing the Glasgow 2014 bid, the city, the people and communities involved.

Reading Room’s Manchester office has been appointed to develop the site, and is looking at elements of user-generated content, viral marketing and games.
