Arc Worldwide has recruited two senior figures in a bid to grow its Edinburgh office, with the appointment of a new client services director and head of digital.

The Edinburgh-based agency has appointed Darren Keen as its new board-level client services director.

Keen has been tasked with supporting the agency’s growth in Scotland and the UK, and will have particular responsibility for accounts such as Procter and Gamble, Diageo and Kraft, while also building on Arc’s management processes.

He joins Arc from The Marketing Store where he worked as UK business development director and was responsible for the development of new business strategy, working for clients such as Warner Bros, McDonalds and Unilever.

Prior to this role, Keen was associate director at Ignito and, before that, director of promotional and experiential marketing for Brand Events. He also spent three years as promotional marketing director for Saatchi & Saatchi.

Furthermore, joining from C4 Consulting in California, Dan Collins has been appointed by Arc as its new head of digital.

Collins joins the company as it looks to grow its use of digital media to maximise the impact of its campaigns.

Diana Cawley, deputy managing director at Arc, commented: “Dan has a highly successful career building agencies working with blue chip brands. His extensive knowledge will be invaluable as Arc continues to grow, delivering integrated offline and online campaigns for brands.

“The US is at the forefront of digital marketing and Dan’s experience there will drive the Arc offer in Scotland and the rest of the UK.”

Meanwhile, Arc has created a new European tradeshow campaign for Stoneridge, the electronic component manufacturer for commercial vehicles.

The campaign will begin at the Commercial Vehicle Show at the end of April, before rolling across other automotive shows in Spain, France, Italy and Turkey.
