The Institute of Directors (IoD) has appointed Glorious Creative to handle event marketing and brand material for the organisation in the northwest.

The Manchester-based agency will create material for IoD’s awards, and work alongside regional director Laura Wolfe in creating a more modern and consistent image for the organisation.

Scott McCubbin, MD of Glorious, said: “When I edited Entrepreneur magazine, I saw the IoD change dramatically. Perceptions have changed, but the material hasn’t moved with it. Each element is branded and designed ad hoc. There’s a great opportunity to create a look which fits with the IoD’s new dynamic style.”

Glorious’s first events work will start with the IoD North West Director of the Year Awards in September.

Wolfe said: “The awards have grown in stature year on year. Now, in their fourth year, we realised that we needed a consistent brand for the awards to match their growing status in the market place.”
