Golley Slater has won the creative account for catalogue company Otto.

The Cardiff office of the marketing group will handle the launch of the company’s new catalogue and online women’s wear shopping site Montage through direct mail and online and press activity.

PHD will work on the media marketing activity, while Otto has already worked with London-based Red C on brand strategy and appointed Bumblebee to handle the design of nine seasonal catalogues.

David Wood, brand controller of Montage, said: “Otto wants to expand its portfolio of new, modern home shopping brands to be more competitive with the current retail environment and the growth and acceptance of online home shopping.”

Meanwhile, the Birmingham office of Golley Slater has been tasked with working on Trinity Mirror’s new property website Smart New Homes. As its creative agency, Golley Slater will create TV, press, outdoor and trade press advertising, as well as a direct marketing campaign in a bid to establish the brand.

A spokesperson for the agency said: “Golley Slater’s pitch featured the creation of bespoke animation to create stand-out in a traditionally conservative advertising environment. Executions focussed on key benefits under the pivotal positioning of \'the smarter way to find a new home\'.”

Golley Slater PR has also been hired by St Ann’s Hospice in Greater Manchester. The agency has been tasked with supporting the charity’s internal marketing, communications and fundraising activity.
