Ignition Marketing has been appointed by National Galleries of Scotland to support the launch of its summer exhibitions, following a pitch against five other agencies.

National Galleries of Scotland has appointed Ignition to provide additional support for its marketing team in driving visitors to this summer’s exhibitions at the galleries – which include National Gallery of Scotland Complex, Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and Dean Gallery – during a period when the galleries have to compete for visitors during the Edinburgh Festival.

Lee Haldane, marketing officer for the National Galleries, said: “We are delighted to confirm Ignition’s appointment.

“As well as having the experience and skills that we need to bring in, their enthusiasm for the task and desire to work as a team was very impressive.”
