Tayburn has been appointed to produce the annual report for Biffa Waste Services.

This will be Biffa’s first report since it

de-merged from Severn Trent plc in October 2006.

It is understood that Tayburn’s experience of working with other utilities sector clients and its previous annual report work were big factors in the agency winning the four-way pitch.

The project will be headed up by group creative director Malcolm Stewart and group director Steve Mitchell.

Mitchell said: “This is a very exciting win for us as this will be Biffa’s first annual report – essentially it is a clean sheet for to us to work from.

“It’s great to be involved with a client from the beginning, and we’ve been able to share our experience of producing annual reports for other major FTSA-listed companies.”

Tayburn has worked with Severn Trent plc for a number of years, and produces a raft of annual report literature for a wide range of companies through its corporate division.
