Contagious, working in partnership with Four-By-Two in London, has completed the first phase of a distillery refurbishment for Beefeater Gin.

The Edinburgh-based agency has worked with Beefeater’s brand team to position the gin as a London icon, taking into account the drink’s historical roots in the city – it is the only premium gin still produced in London.

Large-scale external signage at the distillery in Kennington, southeast London, will help place the plant firmly on the map, while the new reception area, boardroom, botanical area and hosting areas pay tribute to building as ‘the home of London gin’.

The Contagious team also wanted to create a brand home where trade visitors, VIPs and guests could be entertained, revamping redundant spaces to create conference facilities and a stylish, contemporary cocktail bar.
