Rave has announced the appointment of former Euro RSCG Sydney partner, Jamie Buckingham, as its new creative director.

He spent seven years as partner and senior creative at the Sydney office.

John Wilford, managing director of Birmingham-based Rave, commented: “Jamie’s appointment further strengthens our growing creative reputation. Having worked on the likes of Cadbury’s, Heineken, Volvo and Orange in the past, his enthusiasm and talent for finding the ‘big idea’ is spot on for Rave. His energy and passion for the industry makes him a superb fit with the agency’s culture.”

Buckingham added: “Both John and Darryl Canham have an impressive level of drive and determination. It is clear that Rave is a vibrant young agency, keen to build on their history of producing ever-improving work with a great team spirit. I am really looking forward to joining the team and being involved in some exciting creative output.”
