Sheffield-based Front has designed two tourism guides for its client, Leeds City Council.

The agency was tasked to redesign and reinvigorate the content of the two guides, now known as Essential Leeds and Discover Leeds, within the UK and Internationally.

Front’s aim in renaming the guides, formerly known as Visit Leeds and Great Days Out Guide, was to bring the designs and content up to date and in line with “the vibrant, exciting and contemporary” values of the ‘Leeds Live it Love it’ city branding.

Cari Rowlands from Front, said: “As a Yorkshire based company this brief was a great opportunity for us to help promote Leeds and, ultimately, the rest of the county and region.

“The main aim is to entice people to book a short break in the city, so I’m sure the creative look and content of both publications will focus the public’s attention on what Leeds has to offer as a destination.”
