Four of Scotland’s best-known whisky brands are currently looking for marketing communications support.

Grant’s, owned by William Grant & Sons; Jameson’s, owned by Pernod Ricard; LVMH’s Glenmorangie and The Edrington Group’s The Macallan brand are all looking for agency representation, although The Macallan is only looking for online support.

The incumbent agencies on Glenmorangie and Jameson’s are 1576 and Manchester-based BDH/TBWA respectively. Neither The Macallan or Grant’s have an agency currently. The Macallan is understood to be looking at either specialist online agencies or direct agencies with strong digital credentials.

The AAR is handling the pitch for The Macallan, while Agency Assessments is handling the Jameson’s review.

Glenmorangie and Grant’s are understood to be handled internally.

None of the agencies or clients would comment on any of the pitches.
