Goodyear Dunlop has reappointed Haslimann Taylor as its consumer PR agency after hosting a competitive pitch.

The Sutton Coldfield-based agency has worked with Goodyear Dunlop for the past four years, handling a number of campaigns for the two tyre brands. In 2006, Haslimann Taylor launched Goodyear’s HydraGrip Walk on Water challenge, which attracted entrants from across the UK.

The tyre firm is now looking to highlight to consumers the competitive differences of the Goodyear and Dunlop products.

James Bailey, Goodyear Dunlop’s corporate communications manager, said: “The Goodyear and Dunlop brands have high levels of awareness, but Haslimann Taylor have proved they will continue to add value in turning this awareness into targeted, relevant communication.”

Haslimann Taylor managing director Bron Eames added: “Goodyear and Dunlop are two of the biggest brand names in the country, let alone the Midlands, so we are very proud to retain them as clients.”
