Third Eye Design is continuing its recruitment drive with the appointment of a new design director to oversee the development of the agency, which now has offices in Glasgow, London and New York.

Hector Pottie will join Third Eye next month to take on the role of design director.

Working alongside Mark Noë, the group’s managing director, Pottie will shape the design team and have full responsibility for developing and refining the creative output of the group.

Pottie will return to Scotland after an eight-year stint in London. He leaves Cartlidge Levene having worked for clients such as the Tate Modern, The Barbican Arts Centre, Selfridges, V&A, The Crafts Council, and The Oval Cricket Ground.

Pottie has also previously worked for Tayburn and Locofoco in Scotland and Meta Design, Blue Source and Made Thought in London. His work has been recognised with a D&AD Silver Award and two nominations as well as various ISTD and Art Directors Club New York Awards.
