Contagious has designed a new brand home for Bowmore Whisky, featuring a large dram room, a heritage area and a new shop selling the full range of the Bowmore brand.

The highlight of the new environment is the bespoke ‘dramming’ area with large floor to ceiling windows and a balcony designed to open up the views across Loch Indaal.

Contagious, working with Gordon Covell at the Islay Woollen Mill, designed a new tweed for Bowmore which is used on the soft furnishings within the space.

Bespoke oak and leather dramming tables were made by Ben Dawson Furniture, to give visitors an elevated position to enjoy the views.

Original paintings and bottles - taken from the archives - will now be displayed in the space for the public to see.
