Setanta Sports, broadcasters of the Scottish Premier League, has moved its media buying and planning account from Feather Brooksbank to BLM Media in London.

The Edinburgh-based agency won the £1m account in April this year from Mediacom, but Setanta decided to pass the business to BLM after being advised by the agency on its advertising sales strategy.

Setanta, which has eight sports channels in total, is expected to spend a significant amount of money in 2007 as it launches a dedicated golf channel. It’s creative work is handled by Big Al’s Creative Emporium, while Branded look after brand creation. Both IAS Smarts, and The Bridge have previously worked on advertising campaigns for the sports broadcaster.

Meanwhile, the satellite broadcaster has appointed Momentum to run a series of experiential marketing events. Aimed to drive sales and raise brand awareness, the experiential campaign will highlight the depth of channels now available to the consumer.
