DA Group has appointed its first creative director for Yomego, its entertainment division, as the group continues to build its profile within the world of TV and broadcast media.

Erika Pelser, a digital specialist who previously worked for London-based iD Factor, will now add new levels of creative thinking into Yomego’s design and help to expand the company’s relationships with leading media innovators such as MTV, Endemol and FremantleMedia.

Pelser, a South African, was attracted to the role by Yomego’s growing portfolio of clients and will now act as a catalyst for new business while aiming to continue the development of the company’s creative team, both designers and new media developers.

Mike Antliff, CEO of DA Group, said of the appointment: “We are delighted to have attracted Erika to DA.

“She joins at an important time for the company and adds a new and very dynamic element to the development of our applications. Having worked on assignments for multinational and global reaching businesses, such as Microsoft, Vodafone, Honda and Columbia Tristar, to name but a few, she brings a clear understanding of the creative and business requirements that make a project a success.”

Pelser, who will now head up a team of nine at Yomego, added: “I am thrilled to be working at DA. It is such a pioneering company, breaking new ground in interactive entertainment.

“Having worked across such technical areas as web development, mobile phone content, micro sites and interactive communication campaigns, what DA is doing to integrate all platforms is hugely exciting.

“I want DA to be at the top of its game in terms of striking and effective design and can see tremendous potential for everyone here to expand creatively.”
