Edinburgh-based web design company Realise has been appointed to redesign the website of renowned independent school, Gordonstoun.

Realise won the account following a three-way pitch. The agency’s task is to completely revamp the school’s website to better reflect its ‘holistic’ style of education.

This will include developing a contemporary new look, with new features and also the inclusion of an extranet site for parents and a video gallery of different aspects of student life.

The new site will go live at the beginning of January.

“Gordonstoun has a well known and highly respected heritage, but one that now has to work in a very contemporary context,” said Fiona Proudler, creative services director at Realise.

“The school has asked us to create a website that captures its approach in such a way that will appeal to all audiences. The website will play an important role in the future of the school and therefore, must reach out to pupils, parents and teachers.”
