Three Scottish agencies on Anglian PR List

Home-improvement giant Anglian is currently in talks with four agencies to pitch for its sought-after national PR and marcoms business.

The £350k pitch is being fought by Beattie Communications, Golley Slater and Harrison Cowley, plus the Leeds-based incumbent Brahm.

Melanie Russell, head of marketing and communications at Anglian is thought to be overseeing the pitch.

Anglian is the UK’s largest maker and supplier of replacement doors, windows, conservatories and roof-trims.

In August, Anglian unveiled sponsorship deals with two Scottish football clubs, [Motherwell and Dundee United], and is believed to be ready to invest heavily in a new communications campaign.

In February, ADT Fire and Security Systems president, Scot, Alex McNutt replaced Larry Condon as Group CEO at Anglian.

Anglian opened its first high street showroom in Ipswich in 1969, and has an annual turnover of £300 million.
