Porter Novelli wins Estuary transport brief

Porter Novelli, has been appointed by the Forth Estuary Transport Authority (FETA) to provide strategic communications advice, media relations handling and public affairs support.

Porter Novelli was appointed on a three-year contract following a tender process and pitch presentation.

Speaking about the appointment, Porter Novelli managing director, Angela Casey, said: “Porter Novelli is looking forward to working with FETA over what promises to be an interesting and important time for transport in Scotland.”

Porter Novelli’s work for FETA will include running the press office, handling strategic media relations and building greater understanding within political and government audiences about FETA’s role and issues facing the Forth Road Bridge.

Chris Waite, FETA communications manager, comments on the appointment: “Forth Estuary Transport Authority identified that our communications strategy requires a long-term relationship with a consultancy whose skill set matches our needs. Porter Novelli clearly provides the right fit and I am looking forward to working with them in addressing the challenges ahead.”
