Aberdeen-based AVC Media Enterprises has completed the takeover of rival agency Precision Media.

As a result of the deal, the firm will now take responsibility of accounts and clients previously serviced by its Dundee-based competitor.

An order book in excess of £350,000 is now being transferred to AVC Fairweather Advertising with immediate effect.

AVC Fairweather will now have the largest portfolio of clients for media planning and booking in the North East of Scotland.

Spencer Buchan, AVC’s media and commercial manger, said of the deal: “AVC Fairweather is an exciting development in AVC’s growth. This demonstrates our intent to offer the most affordable media planning and booking service across Scotland.

“We have coupled our own expertise with that of Precision Media’s staff who are already knowledgeable in the Tayside and Central Belt market, we look forward to welcoming them and their clients to AVC Fairweather Advertising.”
