Pravda has been appointed by The Fashion Division of JD Sports to oversee all of its advertising.

The Manchester-based agency will design the advertising for the retailer’s facias across the country, which includes Scott’s, South, Lacoste and Open.

Speaking of his decision to appoint Pravda, Scott\'s managing director, Rob Frost said: \"Fashion and retail are both extremely tough environments and we need great advertising to support our initiatives and give our brand real presence. Pravda impressed me, not just in their understanding of the environment we\'re in, but in their ability to translate that into strong creative ideas that will give us real standout.\"

The Fashion Division has 46 stores in England and Scotland, stocking clothing brands such as Ted Baker, Henri-Lloyd, Lacoste, Evisu and Paul Smith.

Its owner, the John David Group, also recently acquired the All:Sports chain and has converted a number of these stores to the Scott\'s facia.
