BD-Ntwk has been appointed by Tesco to support its local store marketing.

BD-Ntwk will support the opening and refurbishment of selected new Tesco stores, as well as supporting stores which are adding new ranges, facilities and services, such as electrical, clothing, opticians, pharmacies and others.

All Tesco store formats are covered by the brief – Express, Metro, Superstore and Extra – each tailored to customers’ needs in the locality.

BD-Ntwk will develop a broad direct marketing programme to support Tesco’s local store strategy. Activity will include direct mail, door drops and a range of promotional initiatives targeting consumers living in the immediate area.

The agency’s team is headed up by associate director Deborah Murphy and will report into Tesco local marketing manager, Heather Noone.

Deborah Murphy, BD-Ntwk associate director added: “Tesco is a leading UK retailer and a global player. This is a great opportunity to work with a truly great retail brand.”
