Cornerhouse, Manchester’s international centre for contemporary visual arts and film, has launched its new website (www.cornerhouse.org) courtesy of Manchester-based interactive agency MagneticNorth.

Internet solutions company Idaho, which has worked with Cornerhouse since 1999, was in charge of building the site.

\"Cornerhouse is synonymous with cutting edge visual arts so we wanted to create a site that was visually striking but also easy to find your way around and get the information you need,\" said Brendan Dawes, executive creative director for MagneticNorth.

The agency has used the building itself for the homepage design, which gives information on the latest events, films and books at the Cornerhouse.

The rest of the site, which is heavily driven by visual aspects, contains further information on areas such as special educational events and art.
