The Agency handed sporting brief by Umbro

Umbro has appointed Manchester-based The Agency to provide point-of-sale material for the sports brand’s new range of football kits. The firm will also supply all print and production for Umbro’s promotional playing cards.

Umbro follows the likes of Marriott and Arora Hotels, Tower FM and Air Namibia on the client list of The Agency, which launched in March.

Commenting on the appointment Umbro’s Andrew Hawkyard said: \"It’s never easy to choose a key supplier, but the quality of The Agency’s work and calibre of their clients bare out the recommendation that initially attracted us to working with them.\"

The Agency’s managing director, Nick Birch, added: \"As a new agency we have to continually prove ourselves. We will as always be on top of our game to ensure our growth and establishment as a key player on the North West design and branding scene.\"
