Scottish Power is to review its advertising account, thought to be worth in the region of £4.5m.

The Bridge, which has held the contract since 2001, has been invited to repitch for the account.

Gerry Dumbreck, head of marketing for Scottish Power will oversee the review, which is being handled by Creative Brief.

Scottish Power has declined to name who else will be pitching for the account, but a spokesperson for Scottish Power said: “We have had an excellent relationship with The Bridge,” and revealed that it would probably be one of the agencies to go through to the final stage.

Scottish Power’s media and direct marketing accounts, held by Feather Brooksbank and Navigator Responsive respectively, will not be affected by the review.
