Industrial textile supplier, Andrew Mitchell & Co’s Apeel vehicle media system, has been chosen by AG Barr plc to integrate new outdoor campaigns.

The first campaign will see adverts for the new IRN-BRU 32 energy drink placed on the side of their lorries in order to capture the attention of the consumer on the nations roads and motorways.

Allan Hamilton, business development manager for Apeel said: “AG Barr is renowned for their ingenious approach to advertising and we are delighted to be working with them to extend campaigns onto fleet vehicles. As a complete services company, we manage all aspects of the medium for out client and ensure they maximise the benefits of this new and exciting strategy.

“The quick change flexibility of the unique frameless Apeel fleet media solution means that it can be effectively used for both short term campaigns and long term brand awareness. Becoming an integral part of an integrated marketing plan, fleet media delivers consistent high impact messages to places other media can’t reach.”

The transport advertising campaign, which features IRN-BRU 32’s new ‘cult cuckoo’ character, is expected to begin at the end of May or beginning of June.
