BDH\\TBWA has played down recent industry rumours suggesting that the Manchester agency has lost its long-standing Henkel account after announcing a restructure of its management team.

According to industry speculation, the agency was believed to no longer be working for Henkel, which owns brands Solvite and Sellotape.

However, chief executive Neil Griffiths denied these claims, stating: \"We are still working with Henkel on a variety of projects. The company has a number of agencies that they do work with and we are one of them.\"

Meanwhile, in other news, the agency has announced a change in its management structure.

Nick Brookes, former joint managing director, has become managing director of BDH\\TBWA with responsibility for taking the agency forward into its next phase of development.

Former joint MD Carol Smith will move to the newly created position of group business development director, working across all TBWA\\ companies based in Manchester.

The agency has also appointed Liz Belinska as its new head of planning. Belinska will take over from Chris McDonald, who leaves the agency to pursue a new career on the client side.

Finally, in other board-related changes, Alexandra Johnson becomes marketing director for the agency. The announcement follows the news that Dave Peters has moved to head up the agency’s Integrated Marketing Services division, working with high volume clients including Nissan Motor GB, Morris Homes and LG Electronics.

Commenting on the changes Griffiths said: \"This team will ensure that BDH\\TBWA delivers for its clients at all levels, and provides the talent and ambition to drive the business forward now and in the future.\"
