Tictoc Design has appointed creative director Ray Lupton to head its creative team.

Prior to his appointment, he was creative director at Black ID and DA Group and was design director for Agency.com in both London and New York.

In his time as a freelance designer, Lupton also worked for firms such as Imagination and Interbrand.

His role at tictoc will be to raise the creative profile of the business and to ensure that the agency’s designers achieve their full potential.

Speaking of his appointment, Lupton said: “It's an exciting and challenging time to be joining tictoc as we are winning business and growing rapidly. It is a tightly knit team here and the quality of the work speaks for itself. I am looking forward to helping the company move forward and to producing even better creative work in the future.”

“Over the next couple of years we're going to drastically grow and develop the company, including moving into new purpose designed offices in Glasgow and a second office abroad, so it's great to have somebody with Ray's experience and knowledge spearheading our studio,” added David McGilvray, Tictoc's managing director.

Meanwhile, following recent work on both Loretto School and Strathallan School websites, Tictoc Design has been appointed by Morrison's Academy in Crieff to develop its website.

The Morrison’s site will cater for potential and current pupils of the School’s nursery, primary, secondary and boarding pupils. Additionally, there will be a former pupils section and a secure parents area to improve communication between the school and the parents.

Continuing its list of educational clients, Tictoc is developing the website for Oatridge College in Livingston.

The Glasgow-based agency has also completed sites for James Watt College in Glasgow, Knowesley College and Roby Sixth Form College in Liverpool and West Lothian College in Livingston.
