Scottish Sun editor, Rob Dalton has moved within publishers, News International, taking on a new role as head of editorial development.

Dalton, as of Sunday, will be replaced by David Dinsmore – currently night editor at the Sun’s London HQ.

In his role as head of editorial development, Dalton will now oversee News International’s move to full-colour printing, beginning in Scotland in May next year. The Scottish print plant is part of a £650 million investment by News International in its UK titles.
