FrameC, The Bridge, Barkers Scotland, Feather Brooksbank and The Union have won a total of eight awards at this year’s IPA Effectiveness Awards, held on Wednesday night in Belfast.

The Bridge, The Union and FrameC won silvers for campaigns for Oral Cancer Awareness, Broadband For Scotland and University of Dundee (respectively).

FrameC also won a special Best Integration award for its University of Dundee paper.

The Bridge won two bronzes for its Blood Donation and Scottish Power campaigns. Barkers’ Children’s Hearings work and Feather Brooksbank’s Silentnight My First Bed campaign also won bronzes.

“The success of the Scottish papers at the awards highlights the talent north of the border,” said Les Binet, European director of DDB Matrix and convenor of judges.

Seven of the 23 winning papers at the awards were from Scottish agencies.
