Seven Scottish ad campaigns have been shortlisted for awards at the 2005 IPA Effectiveness Awards, to be held in Belfast on November 30th.

The Bridge leads the way with three nominations, for Blood Donation, Scottish Power and Oral Cancer Awareness, with The Union, Barkers Scotland, Feather Brooksbank and FrameC all shortlisted for a campaign each. The Union has been shortlisted for its Broadband for Scotland campaign, while Barkers has made the list for its Children’s Hearings System work and Feather Brooksbank for Silentnight. FrameC has been shortlisted for a campaign for University of Dundee.

The IPA Effectiveness Awards is now split into two separate awards schemes. In odd-numbered years the awards are limited to UK agencies with an income of under £20m, while the even-year awards are open to all agencies worldwide. In all, 23 campaigns from 18 different agencies have been shortlisted.
