Ryanair, through Edinburgh-based Inflight Media, is offering companies the chance to brand aircraft in their own corporate livery.

With 35 million passengers set to fly with Ryanair in the coming year, and tens of millions more seeing the planes at busy airports, Inflight Media will help potential advertisers gain pan-European exposure through the Ryanair planes.

Ryanair’s recent order for 140 new 737-800 series aircraft from Boeing means it will soon have the youngest fleet of any airline in Europe.

Managing Director of Inflight Media, Stephen Kiggins, said of the proposition: “This is a chance for forward-thinking companies to capitalise on the boom in air passenger numbers and promote their brand to a new European audience in a unique and exciting way.”

Ryanair’s head of advertising and ancillary revenue, Santina Doherty, added: “This deal represents a unique opportunity for advertisers to reach Ryanair’s 35 million passengers this year, along with tens of millions of passengers at our 107 airports throughout Europe. It’s an innovative way of generating additional revenue to keep our fares the lowest in Europe.”

Rights will be offered on a two-year minimum basis, with discounts available for multiple orders and for extended periods beyond the initial two years.
