Matthews and 999 scoop Mackintosh Fest

Matthews Marketing, along with 999 Design and Lynn Jones Research, has won the marketing contract for the new Mackintosh Festival to be held in Glasgow in 2006.

The city-wide Festival, planned for September next year, will showcase Mackintosh to national and international audiences with the aim of raising awareness of Mackintosh as a key component of Glasgow’s cultural heritage.

The Project is being led by the University of Glasgow, and has been supported by funding from the European Regional Development Fund, Scottish Enterprise Glasgow and Glasgow City Council.

The winning consortium was selected by a panel drawn from The University of Glasgow, Glasgow City Council, Scottish Enterprise Glasgow, Glasgow City Marketing Bureau and VisitScotland.
