Real Radio has unveiled the line up of judges for its ‘War of the Words’ radio creative competition, including Irn Bru marketer, Jonathan Kemp; Fly Globespan’s marketing manager, Judith Duffy; and Scott Ashforth, marketing manager at Arnold Clark.

Also sitting on the judging panel will be John Myers, chief executive at GMG Radio; Shaun Bowron, group operations director at GMG Radio; Real Radio Scotland’s managing director Billy Anderson; its heads of creative, Paul Renhard and Gareth Prosser, and Gordon Young, publisher of The Drum.

The competition to find Scotland’s best radio scriptwriter kicked off at the end of July, and is open to any Scottish agency, but the only rule is that the script must be for a client that hasn’t used radio advertising in the last 12 months.

The winning radio entry will be rewarded with £20,000 worth of airtime/commercial production on Real Radio Scotland for their client.

If you haven’t yet received a CD with information on how to enter the War of the Words competition, go to www.realradiofm.com to download an application form.
