Mediacom launch Explore division

Mediacom Scotland has launched a new division, Mediacom Explore, to handle research, strategy and econometric analysis. The division will be headed by associate director, Euan Ross, and will offer its service to both Mediacom clients and non-clients.

The division will specialise in econometrics, which looks at all the market forces involved in consumers’ decisions to purchase and will marry the analysis method with traditional research and planning tools.

“Econometrics is about uncovering the real facts that drive people to purchase,” said Ross. “It’s sounds really obvious, but actually pulling out the information and mathematically proving it is the difficult bit. Mediacom Explore can offer clients true accountability and business insight.”

The new division is made up of Andrew Niven, head of research and strategy; Peter Cochrane, econometrician and Rohit Modhal, research manager.
