The Glasgow City Marketing Bureau has announced a further push of the Glasgow: Scotland with Style marketing campaign to international markets.

The organisation has outlined its plans to roll out the campaign to several key foreign markets after securing £1.83m of funding from Glasgow City Council and the European Regional Development Fund. The new campaign, which will consist of advertising, PR, sponsorship, and web elements, will target the US, Germany, Canada, France and Scandanavia and run from August until the end of 2007.

The campaign will be created by the newly appointed Scotland with style roster agencies. The organisation is currently in the final stages of its roster review, with decisions expected later in July.

Councillor Mosson, chairman of the Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, commented: “The strategic positioning of Glasgow: Scotland with style will allow us to build on the success already enjoyed during the campaign’s first year of activity.”
