Kelburn selects Burt Greener to raise awareness

Kelburn Country Centre and Castle, in Largs, has appointed Burt Greener Communications as PR consultants.

Kelburn dates back to the 13th century and is the home of the tenth Earl of Glasgow and his family.

Burt Greener will be responsible for raising awareness of the centre, and to increase visitor numbers with a programme of media relations and promotions.

This summer’s schedule of events includes a production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet by The Chapterhouse Theatre Company, the Highland Rustic Games and a Minibeast Weekend.

The star attractions at Kelburn are The Secret Forest and the newly launched indoor play barn.

Commenting on the appointment, Lorna Burt, director at Burt Greener, said: “This is a really exciting project for us. Kelburn is a national treasure and is a magical day out for the whole family.

“We have a full programme of media relations planned for over the summer months, working with print and broadcast partners to support the campaign.”
