Elmwood has been chosen to create the branding for the new Adam Smith College, in Fife.

The college will be formed when the existing Fife and Glenrothes colleges merge on 1 August, and will become the third largest college in Scotland. Named after the famous Scottish economist, the college will have a student population of more than 20,000 and employ over 700 staff.

Craig Thomson, principal at Adam Smith College, commented: “We spoke to a number of agencies but felt that Elmwood’s combination of sector knowledge, creative track record and, most importantly, their Step Change brand positioning process made them the ideal partner for us at this very exciting time.”

Elmwood’s task will involve the creation of brand positioning, corporate identity and guidelines for the new college.
