DC Interact has been commissioned by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society to handle its online marketing.

The agency, which has offices in Edinburgh and London, will create a website for the Leith-based Society, which will become a key tool for interacting with its global membership.

“This is an important stage in the Society’s development and it is essential that its website becomes a sophisticated and dynamic communication and sales tool for its members and potential members,” commented Kai Ivalo, sales and marketing director at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. “The challenge is to use this powerful tool to build on the one-to-one relationship with our 27,000 members worldwide without comprising the Society’s character.”

Meanwhile the agency has also been appointed to a project by Littlewoods. DC Interact is to redevelop the product presentation on www.littlewoods.com, as well as making the site more accessible as a whole.
