Family has joined the ComVort network of independent agencies, giving the Edinburgh-based team access to agencies across Europe, USA, Asia and the South Americas.

ComVort boasts over 50 independent member agencies around the world, and in England both Leeds-based Brahm and Manchester’s BJL represent the group.

A spokesperson for ComVort said of Family’s membership: “Family couldn’t have chosen a more opportune time to join ComVort, as ComVort continues growing and is close to reaching its objective of being present in every important metropolis in the world. Family can expect an active and innovative year as ComVort’s Scottish representative, and take great advantage of its international background while maintaining its entire independence.”

Ian Wright, managing director at Family, remarked: “Joining ComVort will give us access to agencies in Europe, USA and Asia. As we are doing increasing amounts of business internationally this should be a big help for us.”

The news comes as Family is shortlisted in the seventh annual International Food and Beverage Creative Excellence Awards for its Scottish Leader work.

Meanwhile, the agency has parted company with creative team Barrie Robinson Bule and Evan Roberts.
